WELCOME TO CIRCUMCISIONS NSW
Circumcision of baby boys and adults is performed by Dr Adrian Sheen at the Mulgoa Medical Centre, in Western Sydney located south of Penrith.
An initial appointment can be made on 1300 DR SHEEN. It is best to make the appointment as soon as possible after birth as this helps with arranging a suitable time for the procedure. It is preferred that the procedure is done before 4 weeks of age.
HOW CIRCUMCISION IS PERFORMED
Care
At the initial consultation the procedure is explained. There is ample time to discuss any questions.
Examine
The baby is examined to make sure that he is suitable for the circumcision.
Procedure
Under local anaesthetic, the Plastibell technique is used for circumcision. You will learn how to care for the baby afterwards.
